For a party of up to four, Stella Nova’s published walking path to Epic is a concrete advantage if you intend to walk. Terra Luna can be the better choice when its quote wins and shuttle travel suits you.

The clearest practical difference
Stella Nova’s operator page explicitly lists a walking path or shuttle to Epic Universe. For Terra Luna, this guide uses the published shuttle option and does not assume a walking route. That is a meaningful distinction for travelers who want to set their own walking pace.
Walking is not automatically better in heat, rain or with mobility needs. Neither route has been timed by this publication. If you intend to use a shuttle anyway, start with the matching room quotes.
The reviewed rooms are close counterparts
Both list standard two-queen rooms at 315 square feet with maximum occupancy four. Do not try to fit five in either room by assuming a rollaway or crib exception. Ask the provider about an appropriate additional room or confirmed connecting arrangement.
The matched capacity means the room count can dominate the price for a larger family. A six-person group should compare the two-room total against a verified family suite elsewhere, not against a single-room headline rate here.
An Epic location is not an Express package
Neither hotel includes Express or Helios Grand’s dedicated hotel entrance. Both offer Early Park Admission subject to current park scheduling, capacity, eligible attractions and valid admission. Keep those benefits separate in the decision.
If you expect to buy Express for Epic, budget it explicitly. If Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure occupy most of the trip, also compare a hotel on the CityWalk side before choosing solely by an Epic-area label.
Choose according to the journey you want
Choose Stella Nova when its walking option will be useful often enough to justify any actual price difference. Choose Terra Luna when its complete quote is better and you are content with shuttle travel. At equal prices with no strong atmosphere preference, the additional published walking choice is a reasonable editorial tie-breaker for Stella.
