BetterSIM LLC publishes Book Universal Hotel. This policy describes the site’s own behavior, effective September 9, 2026. Contact information is on our contact page.
Your planning inputs stay in your browser
The selector and calculator run locally in your browser. We do not send adults, children, ages, exact party composition, hotel quotes, travel dates or calculator amounts to our analytics endpoint. The site has no traveler account or newsletter signup.
Optional analytics
We ask before sending optional analytics. Choosing “No thanks” leaves them off. Your preference is stored locally as buh-analytics; we do not set an analytics cookie or persistent visitor identifier. You can change your choice with “Analytics preferences” in the footer. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice may not persist.
With permission, we collect page paths, event type, a coarse referral category (such as Google, Bing, ChatGPT, another site or direct), and, for booking clicks, the hotel, provider and button placement. Events cover page views, 30 seconds of active-page engagement, selector completion, calculator use and outbound booking clicks. We do not store full referrer URLs, search queries or URL parameters.
Events are stored in a separate Cloudflare D1 database. The ingestion endpoint temporarily uses a network address for rate limiting; the application does not store that address in the event database. Automated QA events are marked and excluded from business reports. Raw application events are deleted after 90 days by a daily retention job. These counts measure browser events, not verified people, bookings or commissions.
Hosting and external destinations
Cloudflare delivers the website and may process network information such as IP addresses and request details for delivery, security and platform operations under its own terms. Optional analytics failure does not block site navigation.
When you follow a booking link, the provider’s own privacy policy and booking terms apply. We cannot control cookies or data processing on its website. Our pages do not load hotel booking widgets, advertising pixels or third-party fonts.
Contact information and requests
If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond and investigate the request. Please do not send payment details, passport information or sensitive reservation documents. You may ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have supplied by using the contact channel. We retain correspondence only as needed to resolve it and keep an appropriate business record.
